Hey guys,

After 4 years of running The Moss Pit, I've decided to close it down at the end of the month.

I have been repeatedly going over this in my head because a part of me doesn't want to do it, but I've reached a phase in my life where it's just not possible for me to maintain The Moss Pit anymore. I've recently graduated from college and am about to start my career, and my time online has been continuously decreasing over these past few months. Also, running the site has lost some of its enjoyment for me when my partner in crime, sachi, left. But I kept it alive because of you guys and because of all the great fans out there that made it worthwhile. But I just don't have the time or energy to do it anymore.

This decision has been particularly difficult to make because the site has been a part of my life for a long, long time, and I've met a lot of wonderful people through it, but I really believe that it is time for me to let go. I truly and deeply appreciate all the support and appreciation you guys showed me, and I apologize for having to do this.

To be completely fair toward you guys, I am willing to keep the forum and the gallery around if you want me to. Keeping an eye on them won't be as time-consuming as maintaining an entire site, and that way, we can at least still have a place to talk about Carrie-Anne and hang out.

I'd love to hear what you guys have to say about all this, so please don't be shy.

Sadly, I knew this was coming. I totally support anything that you decide to do IriS, after all, you and sachi did create this wonderful site for all of us so we cant complain. could you please keep the gallery and forum though, even if its for a year becuase i dont think i can stomach the entire site leaving all at once.

Carrie-Anne has seemed to disappear lately so news about her has dried up. I understand totally that you are starting your career and that keeping this site is alot of hard work.

I just want to say thanks for all that you did IriS

Trin250 told me about your decision, and I like freaked out!! I know managing an entire website is rather difficult, but couldn't you just pass it down to someone else, or just check it like once a month or something?

Its because of this website, that my obsession with Carrie-Anne Moss has been kept alive. Without this website, I would've just been like, oh she's cool and would've never found out about her life, and have a collection of over 4000 photos of her.

Please, just try to keep this website around!!!!!! I will continuously cry if you don't!! This is Carrie-Anne Moss we're talking about...we can all figure something out...right?

It isn't easy to write down my feeling sbecause of my bad English knownledge.
I read Iris's meassage very sadly.
This site was my connection between me and CAM, cuz here in Hungary it is impossible to get any news about her. The Mosspit was my heaven for me! I met here my good friend, Matrix Has Me, and i got lots of informations about my ideal, which i have never read, and i got the best pictures about her! IDK what will i do without it!! I think this is the one place, where CAM fans can talk each other from all over the world, this is an international CAM forum for fans, and i haven't seen another place anywhere else. THIS IS THE BEST CAM SITE, you did a FANTASTIC job guys!
I absolutely understand you Iris, your career is the first thing, but if i can ask like this, and if you (or anybody else) can run this site further somehow, it would be great! What if you try to find somebody who would like and can keep this site around? I know it isn't easy to run a website, but maybe we can find out something!
Please try to keep the site further,... at least the forum and the gallery!!! PLEASE!!!

I know I was torn. I was balling. I can't believe this. No matter what though, I hope this site stays up...cuz after all, there is only one Carrie-Anne Moss fansite that is reliable, and this is it!! =] I appreciate what you have done for me though, and even though this may be the end, it'll never be the end of my feelings about C-AM. I will forever idol her!! <3

Thanks a lot IriS for creating this wonderful site . Truly nothing compares to the mosspit....and it's been a part of my life . We have the greatest and craziest bunch of people here and I love this place . I understand that it's really important to pursue your career and maintaining the site is really time-consuming . All the best for your future and may all the good things come your way .

Please do keep the forum and the gallery running.....at least we'll be able to pour our hearts out in the forum .

In my earlier post i think i was so hick. I'm sorry! I forgot to thank you IriS to created this site. I was shocked, when i first read about closing the MossPit. It is a really wonderful fan page and i will miss it so much!
I hope your dreams come true and you will be successful in your work!

Looks like I will be keeping the forum and gallery up and running.

As for why I don't hand the site over to someone else, well, the most forward answer is that I don't want to. Not to mention that I don't have the time to teach anyone how to run the site as it is right now. But it's mostly the former, really.

This may seem selfish, but I have no desire to hand over a site I've worked hard on for 4 years to just about anybody who may make any number of changes on it (not that there are any takers). But if someone really is interested in maintaining a Carrie-Anne fansite, I'd rather they create their own version.

Thanks for everyone who contributed to this matter. I appreciate your input.

It's not a selfish act IriS but rather a wise one . You have done such an amazing work with this site and it would be a pity if someone else took over and treated it carelessly .
